Faith Fellowship down 1-0 in their 3 game series vs ALWC needed a win Monday night to stay alive in the Championships. To start the game off FFC started red hot as their bats were live, base running was aggressive, and defense came to play. They took a sizeable lead in the first half of the game and looked like they were going to cruse to victory and force a finale game 3 to decide the 2011 champions.

FFC were vocal, had a bounce to their step and were loose as you looked over to ALWC you saw the complete opposite from their players. ALWC were dropping easy fly balls and grounders, throwing the ball away allowing FFC to take extra bases and a big lead midway through the game.

The heart and soul to ALWC is big hitting Jesse who stepped up in this year's playoffs and took control of his team demanding them to keep their heads up and keep playing hard despite how much they were down and the players heard him loud and clear.

One of the main turning points to the game was a frozen rope hit to left field by ALWC's pitcher Rick, FFC left fielder misplayed the ball and Ricky ran around the bases for a solo lead-off home run. That was the only run scored that inning but that play ignited the team's spirits and the comeback started. The following inning ALWC put up 5 runs to tie the game as outfielder Christian lead the way with his hitting and base running.

Faith Fellowship did not help their chances as they started to make errors of their own. With the game tied up and ALWC up at bat with two men on base bottom of the 6th an easy fly ball was hit to the outfield. FFC outfielder tracked the ball down but somehow dropped the ball allowing ALWC to score the go ahead runs. FFC could not overcome their late game mistakes as ALWC put the game away and win their second Perth Amboy Church League Championship.
